"Rock Band 3" Coming This Winter

The popular Rock Band music game is slated for it's newest release this holiday season when Rock Band 3 will hit stores everywhere.

The franchise's third installment was confimred by Harmonix, the developer of Rock Band games as well as Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero 2.

"Harmonic is developing Rock Band 3 for worldwide release this holiday season! The game, which will be published by MTV Games and distributed by Electronic Arts, will innovateand revolutionize the music genre once again, just as Harmonix did with the original Rock Band, Rock Band 2 and The Beatles: Rock Band. Stay tuned for more detials.

No official release date, artists or songs have been confirmed.

Green Day: Rock Band is also slated for a release later this year as well. Watch the trailer below.
