The cause of death has been released regarding Memphis garage punk Jay Reatard, who passed way on January 13. The autopsy report states that the 29 year old was killed by "cocaine toxicity with alcohol being a contributing factor". Reatard, born Jimmy Lee Lindsay Jr. was an underground darling famous for his violent antics on stage (including beating a man who jumped on stage while Reatard was performing) as well as his high octane guitar fuzz sound.
