Best Music Videos of the Decade Pt. 2

Time for more music videos from the past ten years to digest. Enjoy!

The Strokes - Juicebox
It's messy, racy, and makes you want to take a shower after you watch it. But The Strokes wouldn't want it any other way. Props for David Cross perfectly playing the idiot morning DJ. OH NO THEY DIDN'T!

Queens of the Stone Age - Go With The Flow
Racing through the desert on a dusty road to nowhere, QOTSA make no bones about what they love to do when they aren't busting out heavy blasts of stoner rock. Josh Homme is not a tease.

R.E.M - Imitation of Life

Only 20 seconds of film was used for this video. It is played on a loop backwards and forwards while a certain part of the shot acts out the song. Good thing the song is good or else this noble concept would loose it's impact.

Kanye West - Can't Tell Me Nothing (Alternative Version)
Before Zach Galifianakis was getting BJs from old ladies in Vegas he worked on the farm and learned his skillz like a mad thug. His beard also adds to his street cred.

The Raconteurs - Steady As She Goes
Jack White has always been a throwback to the glory days of fuzz rock blues, but no one knew his affection for good old fashion soap box derbies until "Steady As She Goes". White should probably stick with his day job as a guitar god.

Feist -1234

Sure it might have been a fluke hit and I'm sure the song's clever use in an Apple commercial helped it gain popularity as well. But the video helped to make this tune stand on it's own. Gotta love a room full of colorful white people all tripping the same Canadian song bird.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps

Karen O is one of rock's most flamboyant characters who jumps around on stage like a living cartoon character. However "Maps" finds the singer releasing all of her frustrations about love and being brought to tears in an almost empty bingo hall as her band mates play backup.

Beck - Guess I'm Doing Fine
Directed by Spike Jones (Being John Malcovich, Where the Wild Things Are) "Guess I'm Doing Fine" finds the world's saddest Scientologist lost in L.A. when he stumbles upon some new friends. Can you already feel the warm fuzzies in your stomach?

Coldplay - Yellow
Before they tried to justify their own existence Coldplay actually made good music. "Yellow" finds singer Chris Martin pre-Gwenyth Paltrow and wet on the beach before the break of dawn singing a lonely tune for you. Sure it's simple, but it still stays with you.

Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood
This song introduced two things to the world - the best animated band ever and marching zombie monkeys!!!

Cake - Short Skirt, Long Jacket
The power of suggestion is... well... powerful? If other people like something aren't you bound to like it as well? Cake knew this truth and showed other people liking their music hoping you would like it too. Maybe I'm gullible but I'm OK with that.
Weezer - Keep Fishin'
Weezer know how to give the people what they want. What is better than your favorite group of awkward white guys? Your favorite group of awkward white guys playing with the Muppets.

OutKast - Hey Ya
Andre 3000 pays tribute to the Beatles' debut on the Ed Sullivan Show while also paying tribute to the really cheesy Michael Keaton film Multiplicity. Only a man cooler than cool and ice cold could achieve both at the same time.
