Blur front man Damon Albarn recently spoke with NME about plans for the reunited Britpop legends including the prospect of recording new material.
"I'm definitely going to do a few more of those seven-inches," Albarn said in reference to "Fool's Day" (listen below), a limited edition single the band cut for this year's Record Store Day. "I love the no pressure aspect."
The last Blur album was 2003's lost classic Think Tank which was rated the 19th best album of the decade by The Hanging Tree
Yet Albarn hesitated at the thought of a new full length album.
"We can't do it all the time," Albarn said with regards to recording with Blur. "So I don't want anyone to think there's an album coming soon, it's not possible, but we've got songs."
Albarn is currently on the road with Gorillaz in support of their latest effort Plastic Beach.
